I consider Where There Is No Doctor my health bible. I carry it with me on every trip I take, and refer to it often. The information provided in this book is simple, straight forward, and easy to read. I would highly recommend that any person planning to serve overseas have a personal copy for reference. --- Anita Good, Mennonite Central Committee, Honduras

There is another book in this series called Where there is no dentist, We recommend both.

This book is very rare, however if you get your hands on it you will find a lot of information that will be very useful in the future. On the first page of this book it reads. "This X-file discusses tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPS) related to knowledge gained during the series of experiments and assessments that have been conducted by the Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory since 1996" These experiments and assessment's were actual invasions conducted by the Marines in Northern California.
