The gift of Salvation

Salvation refers to the grace of God in the deliverance of His people from bondage to sin and condemnation, and transferring them to the kingdom of His beloved Son. Colossians 1:13 For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves,

The story was told of a young boy who was caught in a burning house without a means of escape. He took the courage to dial 911. and promptly the phone was answered and then came Firefighters who covered him with blanket and carried him to a waiting ambulance where he was save and free from the fire and it's effects.

The Bible says Romans 3:23 "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. 25 God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate his righteousness, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished— 26 he did it to demonstrate his righteousness at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus."

Like the young boy, we have all sinned, guilty of sin and under the penalty of sin. Romans 6: 19-23 the apostle Paul says 19 "I am using an example from everyday life because of your human limitations. Just as you used to offer yourselves as slaves to impurity and to ever-increasing wickedness, so now offer yourselves as slaves to righteousness leading to holiness. 20 When you were slaves to sin, you were free from the control of righteousness. 21 What benefit did you reap at that time from the things you are now ashamed of? Those things result in death! 22 But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life. 23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Jesus Christ came to rescue and set us free from sin, and from the penalty of sin. In John 8: 34-36 Jesus Christ himself says 34 Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin. 35 Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever. 36 So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.

We find in 1 John 1: 8- 10 that 8 "If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us."

Salvation is found only in one place and that is in Jesus Christ our Lord and if we confess our sins directly to him, no need for a priest, and we accept him as our savior he will cleans us from all our sins and give us life eternal.

If you want this salvation all you have to do is believe and receive,

Heavenly Father, I come to You in the Name of Jesus Christ. Your Word says, "everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved" (Acts 2:21). I am calling on You. I pray and ask Jesus to come into my heart and be Lord over my life according to Romans 10:9. "That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." I do that now. I confess that Jesus is Lord, and I believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead for my justification. Therefore I am saved!

Thank You, Father
